Include a letter of interest which contains the following information:

• Your name, agency and contact information.
  
• Whether you are interested in becoming a member of the parent body of SWGFAST or of the Standing Tenprint Committee.
  
  • The focus of the parent body of SWGFAST is to establish guidelines and standards for the latent print community.
    
  • The focus of the Standing Tenprint Committee is to establish guidelines and standards for the tenprint community.
    
• Indicate what is your forensic science, education and other related experience as it relates to the area in you wish to be involved.
  
• Indicate what you feel you could contribute to SWGFAST.
  
• Indicate what support and/or approval you have from your agency/employer to attend SWGFAST meetings. (SWGFAST normally holds 2 one-week meetings per year.)

International applicants:

The FBI is prohibited from paying expenses incurred outside the United States, including airfare. The FBI will reimburse transportation costs from a US airport to the meeting location when applicable. The FBI will also reimburse hotel costs and meals.

U.S. Federal Government applicants:

The FBI is prohibited from paying any expenses for non-FBI federal (US Government) employees.
